WHAT IS HOMEOPATHY?
Homeopathy is a treatment method based on the principle of similitude, which says that any substance, which in large doses can produce a picture of a disease in a healthy person, can cure, in small doses, the same picture of a disease in a suffering person . In other words, something that causes suffering can also cure it, the only difference being the dose in which the substance is used.
Romanian folk medicine already knows this principle, which it calls “nails that are removed”. Let’s just remember the fact that in an intense hangover, after a night of partying, “retreating” it is made with beer or a small amount of alcohol. In other words, the substance that in high doses caused the disorder, in low doses alleviates it. There are many examples from popular treatment, in which the homeopathic principle is applied: e.g. In case of frostbite, the respective place is rubbed with ice…
HOW WAS IT DISCOVERED? WHO DISCOVERED IT?
From ancient times, Hippocrates, the father of medicine, knew and applied the principle of homeopathy: “the nail is removed”. But the scientific foundations of modern homeopathy were laid by the German doctor Samuel Hahnemann, 200 years ago.
Hahnemann, a great and extremely cultured spirit (he was a doctor, pharmacist and chemist, spoke 9 foreign languages) discovered the principle very simply. He wondered at one point why quinine cured malaria. The explanation of the era was: “because it is bitter”. Hahnemann was not satisfied with this explanation and was looking for another answer.
Then, in a moment of inspiration, he took a few doses of quinine. He was healthy and had no symptoms of the disease, but he noticed after a few days of administering quinine that a series of “malaria-like” symptoms appeared: chills, with periodic repetition, bad general condition, etc. Then he got the idea from which the whole homeopathy was developed: a substance can cure a disease or a suffering, if the same substance is capable of producing a similar disease or suffering.
In other words, what in large doses causes the disease, in small doses can cure the disease. Hahnemann tested himself and his collaborators over 90 different substances in the course of his life and described “disease pictures” appeared after tests on healthy volunteers. Other homoepaths, after Hahnemann, continued the testing, so that currently “testing” pictures are described. to over 3000 different substances. The modern homeopathic doctor tries to establish the similarity between the disease of the patient he consults and the picture described in the homeopathy books. The more similar they are, the greater the patient’s chance of healing.
WHAT ARE HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES MADE OF?
The remedies are prepared from plants, from mineral salts, from animal products and from other (more unusual) sources. Practically, they can be prepared from almost any substance existing in nature, by using the same principle: diluting in water and alcohol and stirring the preparation, between two stages.
Many of the plants used for the preparation of remedies are also used in traditional treatments, i.e. in phytotherapy. Through the homeopathic preparation, some of them acquire special properties and a much wider range of action. For example, Lycopodium clavatum, i.e. pedicuta, is a plant little used in phytotherapy (it was mostly used as an inert powder, i.e. without action, in which other active substances were impregnated). Homeopathy has discovered the huge energy that is stored in the seeds of the plant and the Lycopodium remedy is described as one of the most powerful in the treatment of respiratory and digestive disorders in children.
Mineral salts are extremely used as homeopathic remedies, from calcium salts to precious metals, such as silver, gold, or platinum.
Among the animal products used for the preparation of remedies, the most important are those obtained from the venoms of snakes or spiders, with important roles in diseases of the heart and blood vessels.
Other sources of homeopathic remedies are: X-rays or ultraviolet rays, or computer rays or sunlight – or the so-called imponderable remedies, i.e. made from sources difficult to identify in the material plane. They are particularly effective when they are indicated. In recent years, homeopathic remedies have been manufactured from sugar, chocolate, Coca-Cola or other addictive consumer products, as well as from a series of allopathic medicines, which frequently cause allergic reactions (eg from penicillin, cortisone, adrenaline, etc. ). Other homeopathic remedies are made from pure cultures of germs that frequently attack the body (eg Colibacillinum, Staphyloccocinum, Streptococinum , Proteus, Piocyanic, etc.) or from tissues of the human body (e.g. Thyroidinum, from the thyroid gland, or Pancreatinum, from the pancreas, or Inter-vertebral discs, etc.).
Currently, more than 3000 remedies that can be used in treatment are described in the literature, and their number is constantly increasing. If you think that only 10% of the plants of this earth are studied and their effects on the human body are described, then you can imagine the huge potential that is waiting to be discovered.
Homeopathy remains an important treatment tool within the Natura Center. The training in homeopathy was complex and long-lasting.

Dr. Sorina Soescu has been studying group analysis in homeopathy since 2005 with Dr. Rajan Sankaran’s group in Bombay, http: //theothersong.com/
and îin particular with Joshi Bhawisha and Shachindra, http://www.drjoshisclinic.com/ former students of Dr. Sankaran, currently some of the most dynamic promoters of Dr. Sankaran’s Sensations method and Group Analysis. For 4 years, these Indian doctors have been holding annual seminars in Bucharest, organized by Dr. Ecaterina Floroiu, as well as a series of annual webinars, to which Romanian homeopaths have access at a reduced fee.
This year their session is titled Monthly tonic with the Joshis- Season 2013 and is held once a month starting March 2013 until January 2014 http://www.drjoshisclinic.com/homoeopathy-india/webinar.htm p>
The method of group analysis in homeopathy made it possible to write the books of the Curcubeu Collection (volumes from 1 to 7, the first appeared in 2005 and the last in 2012), which will be completed in 2013 with the 3 out-of-print volumes, re-edited and reprinted (vol 1, 2 and 6), and with the possibility of purchasing all 7 volumes in the form of a promotional package, at a very good price.
Îin the books of the Curcubeu Collection you will find a large amount of information, synthesized and organized for quick use îin the consulting room – about the newest remedies and the newest provings in the literature.
